Brian Goldenberg (Artistic & Executive Director) | brian@angelwalk.ca
A two-time graduate of York University (Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Music, Masters of Business Administration with specialization in Arts and Media Management), Brian works professionally as a theatre producer, music director, songwriter/arranger, performer (piano, trumpet, voice), and educator. He has worked as a Business Consultant for Dancap Productions, the Director of Business and Development for the Herbert H. Carnegie Future Aces Foundation, Assistant Producer at Acting Up Stage Company, founding Artistic Producer for Angelwalk Theatre, and the Executive Director for Theatre 20. For the past eight years, Brian has served as the Artistic Director/Producer for Vanier College Productions at York University. As a songwriter, Brian won first-place in an In Front Magazine Music Contest for his song “Music Will Always Lead Me Home”, and wrote the music and additional lyrics for the Herbert H. Carnegie Future Aces Foundation Theme Song. His original musical, Seven of Us made its Toronto debut in the 2010 Toronto Fringe Festival. Brian is a recipient of the Herbert H. Carnegie Future Aces Citizenship Award, the Herbert H. Carnegie Future Aces Foundation Aces in Action Award, and three SINGular Sensation BackDoora Awards for contributions to the Toronto theatre community.

Danny Sylvan (Assistant Producer) | danny@angelwalk.ca
Danny is a theatre actor, playwright, director and producer. His more recent acting credits include Hayden/Ari in There Is No Maybe, Albert/Kevin in Clybourne Park, and Angel/Ensemble in Rent. Danny is in the midst of completing his undergraduate bachelor of arts degree in Theatre and Performance, with a specific study in the field of playwriting and new play dramaturgy. From 2017 to 2018, Danny worked closely with film project Beyond That Night as a Production Assistant, and most recently completed a successful season as outgoing Company Manager for Vanier College Productions; a primarily student run theatre company based on York University’s Keele campus. Danny is thrilled at the opportunity that he has been given to work for Angelwalk Theatre in their 10th season, and hopes to continue to pursue theatre opportunities within the GTA.

Cait MacMullin (Assistant Producer) | cait@angelwalk.ca
Cait is an actor, producer, and playwright from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. She is about to enter her final year of actor training at George Brown Theatre School, and is a graduate of the college’s Intro to Performing Arts Careers program. As an actor, recent credits include work with Tarragon Theatre, Socratic Theatre/ Toronto Fringe, Dark Crop Performance Festival, and Halifax’s Next Act Improv Festival. As a producer, Cait has enjoyed internships with Crow’s Theatre, the Canadian Improv Games, and Dance Umbrella of Ontario, where she notably worked on the producing team of Esie Mensah’s Dora-nominated show Shades, as well as her Summerworks lab production of ZAYO. Cait’s works as a playwright have been workshopped and performed by Eastern Front Theatre and Kostume Kapers Children’s Theatre in Nova Scotia.

Barbara is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario (Bachelor of Musical Arts) and the University of Toronto (Bachelor of Education). A pianist and violist, she recently retired from teaching instrumental music for the Toronto District School Board for the past 32 years. Throughout her career, she worked as a conductor of orchestras, a clinician for professional development sessions, and a mentor for beginning teachers. She has coordinated and overseen the implementation of the Future Aces philosophy in middle schools, participating in student conferences and teacher workshops. Barbara has chaired and worked on various fundraising committees in support of charitable, arts-related, and education programmes. She has also produced 6 musicals, including Annie jr., Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Rumplestiltskin.
